Caidyn's TBR

It’s May! And, I’m finished with my first year of grad school! That means that the blog might be back to daily posts, but, of course, that will all depend on how I feel.

I’ve created a kinda ambitious TBR for this month, but what else is new?

I actually only have one ARC right now?? I’m shocked at myself. But, I might take the time to go through some of my July ones.

The Chosen (Contender, #1)

At the moment, I’m about halfway through this one. It’s not amazing, but I am enjoying the fast pace and action! I’m excited to read the rest of it.

Historical Women

I really fucked off with this one last month. So, I want to focus on this some and read a few to bump my number up.

Madame de Pompadour: Mistress of France

Ever since I watchedΒ The Girl in the Fireplace way back when, I’ve loved this woman. At least, I’ve been fascinated by her. I’d really like to know more about her. Finally, I’m reading this book!

The Rival Queens: Catherine de' Medici, Her Daughter Marguerite de Valois, and the Betrayal that Ignited a Kingdom

All I know about this book is that I really like Nancy Goldstone as an author. And, I’m going to read this!

Nicholas and Alexandra

A long time ago, I read a book about Catherine the Great by the same author and enjoyed it. I’ve owned this for a while. I’ve always been fascinated by the end of the Romanovs. So, I’m super excited to read this book!

Book Boxes

I’ve been so bad at reading these. I have a huge pile. So, I’m going to read some this month!

Sky Without Stars (System Divine, #1)

This was a part of a book box last month and I really want to read it. I really would like to see if I like it or not!

The Last

This was another box from last month so I want to read it! It looks like it’s very good and a fun read.

Early Riser

I got this one month for BotM. It also fills my sci-fi goal some more!

The Municipalists

Another BotM book that fits into the sci-fi niche that I’m trying to get into.

The Air You Breathe

This is a BotM choice from last year. It’s historical fiction and it sounds super interesting to me. Hopefully I enjoy it!

Of course, there are other books I’d like to read. These are a few, although I’m sure there will be more!

Caraval (Caraval, #1)

I’ve wanted to read this for a while tbh. And with the last book coming out, this makes it the perfect time for me to give it a try.

A Question of Holmes (Charlotte Holmes #4)

I binged the first three books last month, so I’d really love to read the final book this month!

The Winter of the Witch (Winternight Trilogy, #3)

Basically, this is the same reason as the above book. I want to finish out this series!

Rebellion: The History of England from James I to the Glorious Revolution

I’ve binged this series last month, too. I’m really enjoying it! Ackroyd sure knows how to write history.

Talk to me!
Have you read any of these books?
What book are you excited to read this month?
