Hello all! The wonderful Ally tagged me again in her very own creation. She wanted to hype up good reading habits that people have since there is a tag already out there for bad reading habits. (Which, I’ve also done! Click here to check out my answers.)
Her rules are pretty simple:
- Pingback to Ally’s post or her blog in general!
- List some of your good reading habits, the things you think you do well
- Nominate some of your blogging friends
And, with that, I’m going to hype up some of my good habits!
Reading what I want
I’m really good at mood reading and picking what I need to read at the time. Sure, I do read my ARCs and books I have to read, but I also try to read books that I really want to read.
No fear of DNFing
With that, I have no issue DNFing books that I don’t like. For me, it’s like, why read them if I hate them? Or if they’re not the right book for me right now? Or if they’re going to put me in a reading slump? There’s no point. I read for personal enjoyment.
I experiment a lot
While I have go-to genres, I also do try new things. I don’t just read one genre. I like to try new things, even if I don’t like them.
This kind of goes more with blogging, but whatever. I have no issue saying my opinions, even if it’s a very unpopular one. I will be nice about it, but I also won’t mince words. Sure, that means I can be mean or blunt or brash. But, I don’t have a problem saying how I really feel.
Okay, so those are my good reading (and one blogging) habits! I’m going to tag some people, but that’s not exclusive! If you see this and want to do it, feel free to. I know I’d love to see your answers, so tag me, and don’t forget to tag the ever wonderful Ally so she can see them as well!
Do we share any good reading habits?
What are some other ones you have?
