September TBR

Caidyn's TBR

September is here, everyone. I’m back at school, so my TBR isn’t going to be as ambitious as before. Even I’m not going to test myself this month what with all that’s going on in my life! And, yes, I will do some sort of update post in September to talk about my courses and other things!

However, now it’s time for the TBR.

Buddy Reads

This month, I got involved in a lot of buddy reads! I posted on Instagram my stack of BotM books to shame/motivate myself to read them, but, in the end, I got a lot of people wanting to see about doing a buddy read for some titles!

Still chugging on through this one with Chantel! We’re focusing on reading these the rest of the year, not other books so the BW Book Club section will be updated sometime soon!

With Amy @ amywpellicer13, I’ll be reading this one! Super excited. It’s been on my TBR for months and I’m finally going to get to this.

I’m reading this with Emily @ explorewemily! I tried reading Novik’s Uprooted but wasn’t a fan of themes that were in it so I DNFed. But, I’ve heard such great things about this one, so I’m excited to give her another try!

Rachel and I are reading this one! I’ve been wanting to read more diverse fantasy, so this one will definitely fit the bill.

I’m reading this one with Melanie and I’m super excited about it! It’s not my usual type of read, but it sounds sweet and just a good, fluffy read.

ARC August didn’t work out as much as I wanted. I still have a lot of ARCs. The ones I’m focusing on in September are ones that come out in October. Reading a month early like usual! (feat. one actually publishing in September)

Publishing October 16th!

Tbh, I prefer the musical to the classic. But. I thought this one sounded interesting so I thought that I’d give it a go! Netgalley approved me.

Publishing October 26th!

I love the Tudors. This should be of no surprise to you that I requested the shit out of this on Netgalley. There are so few books about Anne of Cleves and, since I like her, I thought I’d give this one a try!

This is a book so indie that there’s no Goodreads page for it! The link will take you to a website that does have the description and ways to purchase it. I thought it looked interesting since I’ve always been interested in Egypt. So, I’ll be seeing how I like it!

And that’s it! As usual, I know me. I’ll read away from this list as I go. But these are books that I really want to read and get into this month! I’m planning on reading some November ARCs as well since I have a feeling I’ll get through some of these quickly.

Talk to me!
What is your must-read book(s) of September?

    • Stay tuned! I’m around halfway through Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Seek, so that’s going to be the next book I pick up on the ARC side of things. Anne of Cleves is an interesting woman, so I’m hoping that this is a good one!
