I think that my first thought for this was, only 10??? How the hell am I supposed to choose out of this huge list I have of amazing people and websites that are out there? I mean, damn.
In past weeks, I’ve struggled to come up with some. This week, I’m going to struggle to narrow it to ten.
The link will take you to my account, so if you’re not friends with me already, you totally should give me an add or a follow! I always forget that despite talking with a lot of you on here, I don’t get to track your day-to-day reading life on Goodreads. I’m on pretty much every day, so that’s great.
For all the flaws Goodreads has, it’s the main way I track my books. I mean, I have a few spreadsheets as well — mainly to make sure I’m on goal with reading books I already own — but this is my usual way to track my activity. Plus you get to see my status updates as I read the book!
This is another one where the link will totally take you to our page. We post daily and usually there are stories on there about our lives and random stuff you might not find on here or Goodreads. Trust me, I post on the story every day and I try to be as interactive as possible!
But, I love bookstagram. I get to learn about so many new books and I know that I’ve met many people that I’m friends with because of it. Or, bookstagram has deepened bookish friendships that I’ve already made through the blog or Goodreads. It’s a great place! You get to learn about and see so many new things, so if you don’t already have one, maybe you should think about making one!
These are just a few of my favorites! If I didn’t mention you, don’t fret! I love every single blog that I run into because everyone has such a unique voice that you can hear. I’m just picking blogs/people I interact with the most.
I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be talking about her, but this woman is such a sweetheart and an amazing person. Every post she puts out is purely amazing. She’s such a great reviewer and, also, a great person. She’s just great.
Again, Sara is such an amazing person. I love her posts and she always has such great tags! (Because, obviously, I love doing tags as well.) Her book reviews are always in depth and great.
Maddie is so interactive! She has great posts and also does surveys to find out more about her followers. Which is so great. Surveys are such fun. I love surveys if you can’t tell by the multiple surveys we’ve had in the past couple years.
Alyssa is so amazing! She’s great and has a huge interest in history (fiction and non-fiction), so if you’re looking for something more outside the typical YA fiction world that blogging can be, give her a follow! She also reads thrillers and everything else. I know that she’s taken a step back from blogging (and is currently on vacation) so you should also follow her on Instagram! She’s super nice and interactive.
Ally writes such great posts and is always very interactive. Just this year, she’s done a couple week long set of posts about unpopular opinions and popular opinions and various discussions. Always such great topics.
Em’s posts are always hilarious and blunt, which I admire. Because I’m blunt as hell at times, especially when I don’t like something. It’s nice to read those kinds of reviews. Also, she’s a sweet human being.
Brittany is newer to blogging, but her stuff is great! She writes great reviews and such thought-provoking posts on different topics like JKR, guilty pleasures, true crime obsession, etc.
Like everyone else before her, Vicky writes great posts and tries to create dialogues within the community. Her dialogue posts mainly about YA and I know that’s a huge part of the blogging community, so check her out!
Those are my picks! If I left you out, I’m so sorry. Still, I love your blog and these are just the things that popped into my head.
Do you have a favorite bookish website?
What’s your favorite post that you’ve ever written on your blog? (I want to check it out!)
