I also got these beautiful finished copies of the other books, but my review will be for We Speak in Storms. The book is about a town that goes through two tragedies. One in 1961 that killed dozens of teens at a drive-in movie theater. And now one 50 years later that touches down in the same spot. Brenna, Joshua, and Callie, all outcasts in their own way, are drawn together to resolve the past.

Melmoth's cover caught my eye a long time ago but @cleverlybookish recommended it to me. And I only happened to find out that it's a sequel! So I'll have to read that first.

@ricki.reads recommended Stalking Jack the Ripper, a book that I've avoided because of James Patterson's mark on it. (Chantel thinks my hatred is irrational. I don't.) So, hopefully I don't think of him while reading!

Finally, @sammaybereading has been screaming about The Bone Season forever. And I swear I'm going to read it soon. Maybe in 2020.
